Primitive Pitcher no interior glaze

One of a pair of jugs probably made by the same potter (see next) neither are glazed on the interior, but they have a mottled glaze on the outside. The character of the glaze suggests a primitive kiln with great variation in the temperature. both mugs are thrown and rough displaying the marks of the makers fingers inside and out. Fascinating piece.
