Why Folk Art

I've spent over 30 years buying and selling antiques, but as old as the items may be, they never get old to me. There is something so exuberant about the arts of the early republic that they never fail to bring a smile. While I tend to focus on American items, as evidenced by the English pig illustrated on this page, I can't pass by charm and whimsy regardless of the origin.   While this website is a shop, it's also an opportunity for me to share the things I love with others who share my interest. For those of you who want to know more about this wonderful area of collecting, I have included a page of reference materials and another page of   links to museums and collections.
